(Denver, CO)  —  The Minnesota Wild lost a 2-1 overtime decision in at Colorado last night.  Wild star Zach Parise tallied a third period goal to tie the game at one goal apiece. 

Avalanche player John Mitchell scored on a slap shot in the overtime to win it for the home team.  Each team registered 20 shots on goal.  Minnesota played with reserve goaltender Darcy Kuemper (KEMP-er), who blocked 18 shots.  He was playing in place of the injured Devan Dubnyk (DOOB-nick). 

The Wild will play at Arizona on Friday.
