The storm is brewing, and there’s certain to be shades of thunder and lightning, as the Lancaster-Lebanon League field hockey regular season rolls in.
With a hotbed of talent in the area, here are 10 returning players to watch during the 2025 campaign.

Etienne Dillman, so., Conestoga Valley
The Buckskins have no reloading requirements this season, and Dillman is at the epicenter of CV’s returning cast. The youngest on the players to watch radar, Dillman spotted an All-State Class 3A honorable-mention nod in 2024 after pushing the Buckskins to the brink of a District Three playoff berth with an 8-8-1 record.

Addie Weiler, sr., Elco
The Raiders are poised to continue their playoff raid with Weiler in the captain’s chair. As a junior, she bludgeoned defenses with 32 goals and 25 assists, as Elco raised anchor on a District Three Class 2A quarterfinal appearance. Weiler was tabbed an All-State second-team selection for her offensive flurry.

The Mounts bring a young unit to the pitch this fall, and it’ll be McCracken’s responsibility to usher in the next swath of talent. The Penn State commit is no stranger to being thrown into the fire and acclimating quickly, as she led Ephrata in scoring last season with 19 goals and seven assists. The 20-plus figure landed McCracken on the All-State Class 3A first team and contributed to the Mountaineers’ run to the District Three tournament.

Anna Fisher, sr., Lancaster Country Day
Heartbeat, nucleus or pulse are all proper descriptors for Fisher. The All-State first-team honoree and Penn pledge gouged the opposition for 50 goals and eight assists last season, helping LCD reach the District Three Class 1A quarterfinals. The Cougars authored a perfect regular season with Fisher’s assistance and claimed the L-L Section Four title.

The Blue Streaks have a multitude of weapons, and Landis is worthy of top billing on that list. Returning for her swan song, the Salisbury commit pocketed nine assists and six goals in 2024, four of which fit the game-winning bill. Landis was selected to the All-State Class 3A second team and helped steer Township to L-L gold and the PIAA quarterfinals.

Julia Weaver, jr., Manheim Township
Following in the footsteps of older sister, Brooke, Julia Weaver is leaving her own footprint on the Blue Streaks program. As a sophomore, Julia snatched All-State Class 3A first-team laurels behind nine goals and seven assists. She was also a stalwart on a defending line that pitched two shutouts and allowed three total goals in 2024 postseason play.

The competition will be seeing double with the Hook twins back for the 2025 season. Chloe was the anchor of the Comets offense last season, depositing 15 goals while distributing seven assists. She ranked among the best in Pennsylvania, soaring to All-State Class 3A first-team distinction.

The second link to Penn Manor’s dynamic sister duo, Morgan Hook produced eight goals and 10 assists last fall. Alongside Chloe, Morgan earned All-State first-team admission and guided the Comets to fifth place in District Three Class 3A and a PIAA appearance.

All eyes are on Craver this fall as she steps into the L-L and Keystone State limelight. An All-State Class 2A first-team pick a year ago, the Ohio State commit angles to build off a junior campaign where she delivered 25 goals and 30 assists. The eye-popping numbers were catalysts to the Warriors’ Section One, District Three and PIAA crowns.

Hess will follow Craver, her teammate in Lititz, to Columbus, Ohio, once the sun sets on her high school career. For now, the junior is focused on adding to her already robust resume after leveling the opposition for 20 goals and 10 assists last fall. Hess joined Craver on the All-State first-team list.
