West Vancouver, BC (CBS12 News) — The Florida Panthers are still celebrating back to back Stanley Cups, even now less than a month before preseason games begin.
Sam Reinhart enjoyed his day with Lord Stanley’s Cup in his hometown of West Vancouver, British Columbia, visiting young patients with the Cup at a Children’s Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House BC.
At both stops, Reinhart posed for photos with the young hockey fans and even let them try on his Stanley Cup Championship ring.
“That was probably my favorite part of the day,” says Reinhart. “Just brightening up people’s days, seeing the children and the families.”
The Canadian Coast Guard also paraded Reinhart and the Stanley Cup through West Vancouver before making a public appearance at a local Pier.
