We have an interesting development for the Montreal Canadiens on the NHL trade market.

The Boston Bruins have reportedly just put two big players on the trade market.

A new option for Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens on the trade market for the second center position

If I were GM of the Tricolore, I would definitely be making a call to the Boston Bruins.

Pavel Zacha, 28 years old, is a left-shot center, 6-foot-3 and 206 pounds, who collected 47 points in 82 games last season, 59 points in 79 games the previous season, and 57 points in 82 games in 2022-23.

He really has a very interesting profile for the Habs, especially since he only makes $4.75 million per year (through 2027).

Casey Mittelstadt, 26 years old, is a center standing 6-foot-1 and 195 pounds who was the 8th overall pick by the Buffalo Sabres in 2017.

Over the past three seasons, he has produced at paces of 40 points, 58 points, and 59 points (per 82 games).

Which one is the most interesting, in your opinion?

One might think the Bruins would never make such a trade with the Canadiens, but let’s not forget that they once traded a certain Brad Marchand within their own division.. So anything is possible!
