Throughout the 2025-26 season, NHL games will air on TNT on 14 Tuesdays and 21 Wednesdays, including Wednesday, Oct. 8, which will feature no shortage of intriguing storylines.

When the Bruins travel to face the Caps, it could conceivably be the final home opener of Capitals star Alex Ovechkin’s illustrious career.

Ovechkin, who broke Wayne Gretzky’s career NHL goal-scoring record last season and now sits at 897 goals, is only under contract through the 2025-26 season.

The soon-to-be 40-year-old veteran will be featured eight times on NHL on TNT this coming season, including what could be the last meeting between Ovechkin and Pittsburgh Penguins legend Sidney Crosby on April 12.

When the Golden Knights and Kings clash on Oct. 8, it will represent dynamic forward Mitch Marner’s first regular-season game with Vegas following an offseason sign-and-trade with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

As they pursue a third consecutive Stanley Cup win, the Panthers will play six NHL on TNT games, highlighted by a Feb. 26 meeting with the Bruins, who are Panthers forward and playoff hero Brad Marchand’s former team.

Other NHL on TNT highlights include a tripleheader on Dec. 23 with the Penguins at Maple Leafs, the Dallas Stars at Detroit Red Wings and Philadelphia Flyers at Chicago Blackhawks, and the Battle of New York between the Rangers and Islanders on Jan. 28.

The NHL on TNT regular-season slate will conclude on Wednesday, April 15, with the Red Wings traveling south to take on the Panthers.
