Detroit Red Wings fan mania knows no boundary This Detroit fan, from points unknown went to the Shanghai Dragons practice  (in St. Petersburg, Russia) to get his Red Wings jersey signed by Dragons coach Gerard Gallant.

Gallant is in his first season coaching in the KHL. The Dragons, formerly the Kunlun Red Star, have moved from Moscow to St. Petersburg with the hope of eventually moving back to China.

We’re assuming Gallant has a clause that lets him accept an NHL job.

Axel Sandin Pellikka is more than excited for his first chance to make the Red Wings roster

No player born in Thailand has ever played in an NHL game. But the Grand Rapids Griffins will have a Thai native in this upcoming season.

Travis Hamonic helped the Ottawa Senators reach the playoffs and now he wants to do the same for the Red Wings.
