After a strange and interesting series opener, the Florida Panthers look to get back even against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday night.

While the Panthers had a little more rest than the Maple Leafs, it was Toronto who had the early jump in Game 1 on Monday night, potting three goals in the opening 20 minutes, leading 4-1 by the early stages of the second period.

However, things took a turn after Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz had to leave the game due to injury, which led to the veteran having to be stretchered out of the arena.

With Joseph Woll in for the first time during the playoffs, Florida attempted to stage comeback, scoring thrice in the third period. However, Toronto managed to hang on, grabbing a 5-4 win.

While there is obvious concern for Stolarz’s health, the Leafs are going to have to refocus, and try and win with Woll in net. Woll has been solid in the past, but lost the starting job to Stolarz prior to the playoffs.
