Two of the greatest forwards in New Jersey Devils‘ history will join an exclusive group later this year.

USA Hockey announced on Sept. 3 that Scott Gomez and Zach Parise will be inducted into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2025.

The rest of the class includes photographer Bruce Bennett, women’s hockey trailblazer Tara Mounsey, and former NHL star Joe Pavelski.

Here’s a look at the two Devils stars:

Zach Parise

Parise, who is from Minneapolis, played 19 NHL seasons with four different teams. The Devils drafted the winger with the No. 17 pick in the 2003 NHL Draft, and he would go on to become the team’s captain and lead the franchise to the 2012 Stanley Cup Final.

He then signed a massive contract with the Minnesota Wild after the 2012 season, and would later play for the New York Islanders and Colorado Avalanche.

Scott Gomez

Gomez, from Anchorage, Alaska, was drafted by the Devils with the No. 27 pick in the 1998 NHL Draft. He became the first Latino player to win the Calder Trophy as NHL Rookie of the Year for the 1999-2000 season.

The Devils would win the first of two Stanley Cups as part of Gomez’s tenure. He is fifth all-time in points scored for the Devils.

When is U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame induction?

The U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Induction Celebration for the Class of 2025 will take place on Dec. 10, 2025 in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
