The San Jose Sharks have announced the 2025 Rookie Face-Off schedule.

After years of a bigger tourney featuring six or seven teams in the NHL’s Western Conference, the 2025 version will feature just three teams: the Anaheim Ducks, the Los Angeles Kings, and the Sharks.

Now named the “Golden State Rookie Face-Off”, the Sharks will face the Ducks once and the Kings once.

The event is open to the public and will take place at Great Park Ice & FivePoint Arena. Tickets will be $15 per game. For Sharks fans not able to make the trip to SoCal, each game will be livestreamed for free with no location restrictions.

The Rookie Face-Off is often preceded by a small rookie camp held at Sharks ice. There has not been any official update on whether that will be the case in 2025.
