Dustin Wolf is the Calgary Flames goalie of the future.
If that wasn’t already abundantly clear, the organization confirmed it Tuesday morning by signing the star netminder to a seven-year contract extension worth US$7.5 million annually.
The 24-year-old is coming off a stellar rookie campaign in which he led all first-year goalies with 29 wins, a .910 save percentage and a 2.64 goals-against average.
