DEERFIELD, Wis. — The Wisconsin women’s hockey team brought home a record-breaking eighth national championship earlier this year, and now the team is being honored in a special way.

Schuster’s Farm is celebrating its 32nd season with a tribute to the champs in the form of a corn maze. The maze is one of the top attractions of the farm’s fall festivities, which run from Sept. 20 through Halloween.

“This year’s design is a celebration of grit, teamwork, and the power of believing in yourself,” farm co-owner Don Schuster said. “It’s our way of cheering on a team that has brought so much pride to Wisconsin.”

The maze design features Bucky Badger holding a hockey stick, shooting a puck into a net. Also carved into the maze is the phrase “UW Women’s Hockey is THE G.O.A.T.”

Schuster’s also plans to use this fall season to bring attention to Agape Ranch, a non-profit founded by Badgers head coach Mark Johnson and his wife Leslie that aims to help young people work through anxiety and depression by connecting with horses.

The first chance to enjoy the maze will be on Sept. 13 during Schuster’s annual Corn Crawl. You can find more information on the farm’s website, linked here.
