BOSTON — The Boston Bruins have announced the extension of their affiliation agreement with the Maine Mariners through the 2027-2028 season. This marks the fifth season of the Mariners’ affiliation with the Bruins, known for their black and gold colors.

Rick Kowalsky, the new head coach of the Mariners, expressed enthusiasm about the continued partnership. “It’s a definitely great win/win for the fans and players,” said Kowalsky.

The affiliation has seen players like Justin Brazeau, a former Mariners star, progress to the NHL, where he is now with Minnesota.
