Carey Price was traded from the Montreal Canadiens to the San Jose Sharks on Sept 5.
Now the injured goaltender is appearing in San Jose. Why?

According to the NHL’s collective bargaining agreement, Price still needs to undergo a physical for the Sharks. It is well known that Price is no longer physically able to play, but the league requires him to undergo a physical.
He is expected to fail that physical and is a candidate to be put on injured reserve.

Sharks training camp doesn’t begin until next week, leaving some questions as to why he arrived to the west coast a week in advance.
