In his article, Murphy also reveals the names of three Canadiens players who could be offered in a trade to acquire this coveted second-line center in Montreal.
It’s still just a rumour at this point, but it remains very intriguing!
Three Montreal Canadiens Players, Including Joshua Roy, Could Be Offered in a Trade
It’s worth noting that they would be available with the goal of bringing a second-line center to town.

“The source indicated that Canadiens youngsters Joshua Roy and Oliver Kapanen, as well as defenseman Jayden Struble, are names that continue to surface in NHL trade rumours as the Canadiens search for a second-line center.”

Joshua Roy, 22, has recorded 11 points in 35 NHL games, along with 35 points in 47 games during his most recent season with the Laval Rocket.
Jayden Struble, 24, has tallied 23 points in 112 NHL games (with a -1 rating) and added 8 points in 24 games with the Laval Rocket.
Oliver Kapanen, 22, has collected 2 points in 18 NHL games, along with 6 points in 11 playoff games with the Laval Rocket.
