Marc-Andre Fleury is returning to the ice with the Pittsburgh Penguins. The beloved goalie spent 13 seasons with the black and gold, helping the team win three Stanley Cups. The Penguins feel he and his family are most deserving of this opportunity to celebrate this full-circle moment back where it all started in front of the black and gold faithful.”Some fans said they were already clearing their calendars to see him in action. “So we’re sitting here in line for eric church, and we saw that, and we immediately posted our tickets that we have for our concert in Michigan that weekend so that we can try to get tickets to be at that game because we love him,” said Penguins fan, Khrysta Cornelisom. “Obviously super excited and, obviously, being a Fleury fan growing up, I’ve always played, and I was a goalie for hockey. So he’s been a big inspiration. And so I’m super excited to see him come back,” Penguins fan JM Krajc said.For Yinzers in the Burgh owner Jim Coen, he says they are working to have Fleury merchandise ready ahead of the game. “Absolutely. We’ll make some calls, and we’ll have some Andre Fleury merchandise,” Coen said. “Through the cup years and never complained. It was always such a classy player, and if, you know, if you asked 100 people in the city of Pittsburgh if they like Andre Fleury, everyone would say yes,” he added.
