Hughes and the Canadiens Reportedly Place Three Players on the Trade Market, Including a Surprise

There’s starting to be quite a bit of action again on the NHL trade market.

Hughes is therefore trying to acquire Zacha, or at least is seriously inquiring about him.

These are three players who would indeed be available, mainly to bring in reinforcements at center.

Here’s the relevant excerpt:

James Murphy: “Joshua Roy and Oliver Kapanen, as well as defenseman Jayden Struble, are names that continue to be bantered about in NHL trade chatter regarding the Canadiens’ search for a second-line center.” – RG/Jimmy Murphy

This is really interesting!

And you – would you be willing (let’s say) to trade all three players to acquire a center like Pavel Zacha?

Would you be willing to trade Joshua Roy + Oliver Kapanen + Jayden Struble for a good second-line center?

It’s really surprising to see Kapanen’s name in these rumors, but I guess it could simply be explained by the fact that he wasn’t drafted by Kent Hughes (he was drafted under the previous management).
