Jack Millar entered the 2024-2025 season in his first full season as a professional. Signed to an AHL contract for the season, Millar was one of the young members on the blue line and fit in nicely. Millar racked up 12 helpers in 62 games and played alongside Joe Hicketts at times, and played a key role on the penalty kill for the Reign. He played in one playoff game.

Millar will be returning to the Reign on another one-year AHL contract. Since it is an AHL contract, that means he is under contract for the Reign only. Ontario will have several incoming Kings prospects on the back end, either returning or making their way to North America. Most of them are left-handed, so we will see how much Millar is utilized with prospects needing to be integrated into the lineup and if any will play on their off side.
