The topic of Gary Bettman’s retirement as commissioner of the National Hockey League sparked a lot of chatter a few months ago.

This news rekindled hope for many fans wishing for the return of the Quebec Nordiques, who believe that Bettman has no interest whatsoever in bringing the Nordiques back.

However, the replacement mentioned by Jeff Marek clearly won’t be unanimously welcomed in that regard.

If Daly does in fact replace Bettman, it will be more of the same for fans-absolutely no wind of change-and it will be exactly the same story when it comes to the return of the Quebec Nordiques Unfortunately
