The San Jose Sharks have announced their official training camp roster for the 2025 season.

Headlining the camp will be the usual suspects of Macklin Celebrni, Tyler Toffoli, and Will Smith. The total number of players attending camp is 63 (36 forwards, 20 defensemen, 7 goalies).

The Sharks had an active off-season, signing five unrestricted free agents. John Klingberg, Jeff Skinner, Adam Gaudette, Philipp Kurashev, and Dmitri Orlov to contracts.

San Jose also traded for goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic and Ryan Reaves. GM Mike Grier also opted to claim Nick Leddy off waivers from the St. Louis Blues and sign Oliver Wahlstrom to a PTO.

Arguably, the most anticipated part of the San Jose Sharks training camp will surround two rookies, Michael Misa and Sam Dickinson.

While this will be Dickinson’s second training camp since being drafted in 2024, Misa will have his first chance at what an NHL training camp looks like.

Multiple prospects like Collin Graf, Ethan Cardwell, Luca Cagnoni, and Filip Bystedt will be in heated competitions for full-time NHL spots. Graf has played 40 career NHL games, giving him an edge over other players.

Training camp begins at 9 a.m. at Sharks Ice San Jose on Thursday morning.
