Cirrus SR 22 operator Hopscotch Air, Inc. has extended its partnership with the Bridgeport Islanders for the upcoming 2025-26 season.

The hockey team is the AHL affiliate of the New York Islanders.

It’s the third year Hopscotch has sponsored the team.

CEO Andrew Schmertz says, “This partnership with the Bridgeport Islanders has expanded our customer base by introducing us to hockey fans in Fairfield County, Connecticut.”

Hopscotch Air receives in-arena branding, with its logo behind each goal.

The charter operator will feature the fisherman logo of the Bridgeport Islanders on the side of one aircraft.

The hockey club’s Director of Partnerships, Tom Schwarting, says, “As we strive to provide outstanding service and experiences for our fans, we are proud to partner with a like-minded company that offers safe, efficient, and affordable private air transportation.”

Hopscoth Air operates on-demand charter flights in the Northeast, focused on the New York to Boston corridor.

Its Club Scotch program offers discounts, improved cancellation terms, and priority scheduling.

The SR22s carry three passengers.

It also could be a smart way to avoid the notorious New York City area traffic and hop Long Island Sound in minutes instead of hours.

The NHL Islanders play at the UBS Arena in Elmont.
