The NHL has announced Hockey Hall of Famer and Calgary legend Jarome Iginla has been included in the the first group of six players of the NHL’s quarter-century team alongside Nicklas Lidstrom, Joe Sakic, Zdeno Chara, Teemu Selanne and Joe Thornton.

From 2000 to 2017, the two-time Olympic-gold medalist registered 556 goals and 592 assists for 1,148 points in 1,285 games.

He scored 456 goals and 487 assists for 943 points in 950 games in Calgary from 2000 to 2013, where he was a three-time First Team All-Star (2002, 2008, 2009), two-time Rocket Richard Trophy Winner (2002, 2004) and a former Art Ross Trophy Winner (2002).
