CHARLOTTE (CAROLINA SPORTS LIVE) — For the first time in 12 years, the Charlotte Checkers will be donning new primary home and away jerseys.

The new sweaters are highlighted by a stripe pattern that pays homage to the Florida Panthers, the Checkers’ NHL affiliate and back-to-back Stanley Cup champions. The Novant Health patches are displayed on the right side of the chest.

The stripe pattern also matches the team’s alternate black jerseys, which will be worn eight times throughout the season.

This is the third primary jersey design in team history. The first ones ran from 2010 to 2013, before being changed from 2013 to before the start of the 2025 season.

The new jerseys will be debuted on opening night on October 17. Team officials say fans can by a package for $55 that gets them a ticket to either game on the 17th or 18th, and a special-edition shirt featuring the jersey’s new stripe pattern.

That package, tickets for the rest of the season, and the new jerseys are all available for purchase.
