STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — Former SPASH hockey standout Joe Pavelski will be inducted into the SPASH Hall of Fame on Saturday.

The former Dallas Stars and San Jose Sharks forward finished his 18-year NHL career with 1,068 points (476 goals, 592 assists) in 1,332 regular-season games. His teams were also regulars in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, qualifying for the postseason 16 times.

Pavelski will be joined in the class by the 2002 State Championship hockey team – the school’s first-ever in hockey – his uncle Pat Pavelski a standout baseball player for the Panthers, and Mark Lutz a former SPASH and University of Vermont hockey star.

There are a limited number of tickets still available for the event that includes a social hour with complimentary beer, wine, and hors d’oeuvres. Video biographies will be played for each Hall of Fame inductee during the ceremony.
