Kerfoot, 31, had 11 goals and 28 points in 81 games with Utah last season.

He is on a one-year, $3 million contract and will be an unrestricted free agent next summer.

A fifth-round pick (150th overall) by the New Jersey Devils in 2012, Kerfoot began his NHL career with the Colorado Avalanche, spending two seasons in Denver. He was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs in July of 2019 along with Tyson Barrie in the deal that sent Nazem Kadri to the Avalanche.

The Vancouver, B.C. native has appeared in 605 career NHL games, scoring 98 goals with 292 points, split between the Avalanche, Maple Leafs, Arizona Coyotes and Utah.

The Mammoth open the 2025-26 season, their first with the new name, on Oct. 9 against Colorado.
