In fandom No matter what team it is that you root for. You will be asked as a fan. To accept. A player or a coach that you don’t want to accept. You don’t. And the organization is going to bring a player in that maybe you don’t like. Whether it’s you don’t like the way they play or you don’t like who they are. And I, and I will I’m not saying this is the same or anything. I’m just gonna bring up, uh, athletes and other sports. Miami Dolphins fans. Our fans, in spite of the fact that Tyreek Hill is on their team. Yeah, I’m not gonna get into why he’s polarizing for some. That’s why Al Gore invented the internet. Joe Mixon with the Bengals and now with the Houston Texans. Um, there are athletes that have done Bad things across sports. And they are still playing. Whether it’s serving a suspension or or uh making uh restitution, peace, whatever. If you were an Eagles fan. How did you stomach? Michael Vick. How how did that how did that work? So Again, you are free to read everything you can. I encourage you to do so. I read a lot. Listen to a lot about the trial in London, Ontario. For me It’s not really criminal, it’s more moral. And I’m not saying it makes it any easier because I don’t think it does. In some ways, Criminal behavior is easier to justify than moral behavior, or yeah, than immoral behavior. So, There is a very strong likelihood that Michael McLeod will be a Carolina hurricane. 3 weeks from now, 4 weeks from now. And Hurricanes fans are gonna have to decide how they feel about it. So, I’m, I’m not going to criticize anybody that’s mad at all. I think you’re justified. But he’s an eligible player. He is eligible to play in the NHL. And I think he’s a good player for what it’s worth. And I sort of said that about a, you know, beginning of the week. I wouldn’t be surprised. I think I said that exactly if the Hurricanes were interested in Michael McLeod and Carter Hart, as it turns out, they were interested in both. Carter Hart is not interested in Carolina, um, and that’s fair also.
