The Edmonton Oilers have unveiled a new third jersey for the 2025-26 season.

In a video posted to YouTube Saturday afternoon, the Oilers confirmed a design that had been floating on social media for a couple of weeks.

The sweater is white with blue and orange accents — stripes at the waist and elbows, with blue shoulders — emblazoned with the Oilers wordmark across the chest. The shoulder also features an “Oil Country” crest complete with oil derrick.

In promotional materials for the jersey, it is described as being “built for Oil Country, where early risers are appreciated and hard work is rewarded.”

“Blending Fanatics tech and innovation with a classic design evoking nostalgic brands that were trusted to keep machines running smoothly, in the shop and in the field, this jersey comes ready to get pucks in deep and mix it up in the corners,” the description reads.

According to the Oilers, the jersey is available for pre-order.

Past third jerseys include the Todd McFarlane-designed oil gear jersey and the Adidas navy blue with orange accents and the mid-2010s Reebok orange alternate.

Social media reaction for the new tarps was mixed, with some praising the clean design and others calling it “weak.”
