SEG Media announces new innovations and benefits designed to give Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth fans an enhanced streaming experience through its SEG+, Jazz+, and Mammoth+ streaming platforms.

As part of today’s news, SEG Media introduced ArenaCast, a new multiview format that gives fans the ability to watch the main game feed alongside three alternate camera angles, for a more immersive, in-arena feel. In addition, SEG Media announced that its streaming platforms will be integrated into their respective team apps, making it easier for fans to access more than 150 live and on-demand games and unique team content.
“We continue to listen to our fans, and our new features are a direct result of the feedback we’ve received,” says Chris Barney, president of revenue and commercial strategy at Smith Entertainment Group. “With new app integrations, ArenaCast, and expanded original content, we’re finding fresh ways to connect Jazz and Mammoth fans to the teams they love and create experiences that every fan can enjoy, no matter where they are.”
New Streaming Capabilities
This season, fans will be able to access Jazz+ and Mammoth+ directly through each respective team’s mobile app, and SEG+ will be available on both apps, providing a seamless way to enjoy live games and insider content. Users of the Jazz app will see the update on iOS and Android beginning this Sept., while those using the Mammoth app will gain access in early Oct. ahead of the regular season. In addition, SEG+, Jazz+, and Mammoth+ will be available this fall on Samsung connected devices, expanding viewing options and making it easier than ever for fans to stream from the device of their choice. SEG+ streaming platforms are also currently available on Android TV, Apple TV, Fire TV, and Roku.
New Streaming Options and Content
Subscribers can look forward to new viewing options and fresh content throughout the season, including the ability to stream games and simultaneously listen to the Utah Mammoth radio broadcast or the Utah Jazz radio broadcast – in Spanish or English.
Popular content series that take fans behind the scenes of the Utah Mammoth – including Beyond the Barn, Fresh Ice, and Break the Ice, which are sponsored by Delta Air Lines, will return. All Access, sponsored by Delta Air Lines, Shoot the Sh*t, and Front Rowe are returning to Jazz+ with fresh episodes and new guests. SEG Media will continue to host a variety of branded, themed alternative broadcasts throughout the season, including NashCast, which quickly became a go-to feature for fans interested in hockey beyond game play, and features guests including Utah Mammoth players, NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, NHL Hall of Famers, and others. Jazz+ will launch JazzCast, a themed broadcast each month that will feature Jazz alumni and other special guests throughout the season.
Subscription Incentives
To kick off the season, new users who purchase an annual subscription to SEG+, Jazz+, or Mammoth+ before or during preseason will be eligible to receive a pair of complimentary tickets to a game this season. SEG+ subscribers can choose from a selection of Utah Jazz home games or upper-bowl single-goal view tickets to a Mammoth home game. New annual subscribers to Jazz+ or Mammoth+ will receive a pair of home game tickets to see the respective team play. Ticket quantities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Eligible subscribers will be notified via email within five business days of purchase with a link to claim their tickets.

The agreement, which includes featured branding and activations across all three streaming platforms, marks a milestone in SEG Media’s efforts to grow and enhance its streaming experience.
“Balance of Nature values professional sports affiliation,” says Sam Evans, vice president of marketing for Balance of Nature. “We look forward to the partnership and energy that come from the fans.”
