Players To Watch:
Edmonton Oilers
Isaac Howard was acquired over the summer by the Oilers and recorded one primary assist in the Oilers’ 3-0 win in Calgary. He could be a strong candidate to contribute against the Winnipeg Jets should he be in the lineup for the Oilers.
Winnipeg Jets
Jonathan Toews, making his debut as a Winnipeg Jet, is easily one of the players to watch for tonight’s contest. He’ll suit up, and fans will get a feel for what Toews can offer, given he hasn’t played a game in over two years.
Elias Salomonsson gets to have a strong feel of what an NHL pairing could look like as he pairs with Dylan Samberg. This pairing has fans intrigued as it could be a good look into what the future brings for a defenseman of Salomonsson’s calibre.
