The Senators dropped their preseason opener to the Maple Leafs 4-3. They got goals from Ridly Greig, Arthur Kaliyev, and Olle Lycksell. Linus Ullmark stopped five of the eight shots he faced in one period, while Mads Sogaard stopped 11 of the 12 shots he faced.
