One of the best things about going to KeyBank Center for a Sabres game is when the team lights up the lamp and the goal horn sounds. Now what comes after that is up to you.

Over the past several years, the Buffalo Sabres have let players pick what song would be played after they scored a goal. Famously, Jeff Skinner chose “Party In The USA” by Miley Cyrus the year he notched a ton of goals. Fans heard the song a lot that season.

This season, things are a little bit different, and I think I like this idea better. The Buffalo Sabres will only play one song after the team scores a goal at home during Blue/Gold games.

Now the song that will be played is up to you. The Sabres allowed people to nominate any song they wanted, and they posted the Top 5 songs that were submitted the most. Now it is up to Sabres fans to choose which song will be used from that list of five.
