The Red Wings picked up a win to start the preseason schedule. Detroit beat the Chicago Blackhawks 3-2 on Tuesday. They got goals from Emmitt Finnie, Nate Danielson, and Carter Mazur. Sebastian Cossa played the whole game, stopping 15 of the 17 shots he faced.
