Las Vegas (KSNV) — The Vegas Golden Knights are ready to get fans pumped ahead of the start of the regular season.
The team announced their annual event will take place at Downtown Summerlin for a second consecutive year on Sunday, October 5.
Activities begin at 11 a.m. and will continue through 2 p.m. at The Lawn, where fans will get the chance to see and hear from Golden Knights players.
Fans attending the event will have the opportunity to win an Opening Knight VIP package.
The package includes four tickets to the game on Wednesday, October 8, as well as exclusive access to the Gold Carpet presented by Naqvi Injury Law before the game.
Other activities available include music, ball hockey, face painting, giveaways, special appearances by team broadcasters and members of the VGK Cast, and a special Touch-a-Truck activation.
Golden Knight officials do note that no formal autograph session will be offered during Fan Fest, as players will be signing on the Gold Carpet before Opening Night.

Fan Fest is free to attend and is open to the public. People of all ages are welcome, including dogs.
Downtown Summerlin is located at 1980 Festival Plaza Drive.
