The Kraken picked up a 4-1 win over the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday night. They got goals from Ben Meyers, Logan Morrison, Jani Nyman, and Jagger Firkus. Joey Daccord stopped all 16 shots he faced, and Nikke Kokko stopped eight of the nine shots he faced.

Vancouver Canucks News & Notes:

The Canucks beat the Flames on Wednesday night, 3-1. They got goals from Filip Chytil, Nils Hoglander, and Victor Mancini. Nikita Tolopilo stopped all seven shots he faced, while Thatcher Demko stopped 11 of the 12 shots he faced.

Seattle Kraken

Jani Nyman played in 12 games for the Kraken last season, recording six points on three goals and three assists. He was a minus-three with two power-play goals. He also played in 58 games for the Coachella Valley Firebirds, recording 44 points on 28 goals and 16 assists. Nyman was a plus-three with nine power-play goals and three game-winning goals.

Vancouver Canucks

Jonathan Lekkerimaki, who played with Vancouver last season in 24 games, had six points, including three goals and three assists. He was a minus-six. In 36 games with the Calder Cup Champion Abbotsford Canucks he had 28 points on 19 goals and nine assists. He was a minus-three with seven power-play goals and five game-winning goals.
