With less than a month until the Dallas Mavericks’ 2025-26 campaign gets underway in an opening night matchup against the San Antonio Spurs, rosters are being solidified.
On Friday afternoon, the Mavs released their 2025-26 training camp roster, featuring 21 players, including a variety of fresh faces.
While stars like Anthony Davis, Kyrie Irving and Klay Thompson were featured, other notable names were two-way rookies Ryan Nembhard and Miles Kelly.

The roster also included Dennis Smith Jr. The former 9th overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft by Dallas was signed to a deal earlier this month to re-join the team after playing for five different teams and getting traded in the Mavs’ acquisition of Kristaps Porzingis in 2019.
The Mavs’ regular-season opener vs. the Spurs will be at American Airlines Center on Oct. 22. The game will be televised on ESPN.
