Once again last night, young forward Florian Xhekaj never hesitated to defend his teammates.Notably, after a questionable hit taken by Jared Davidson, Arber’s younger brother rushed at two Maple Leafs players at the same time!

Clearly, one of the officials seemed tired of having to “deal with” Florian Xhekaj, who was involved in every scrum, and he made it very clear to the youngster.

Florian Xhekaj is really motivating to watch, that’s for sure! Last night, he was one of the only players trying to create something and bring energy to his teammates.
Xhekaj, 21, is a big forward standing 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds, drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the 4th round of the 2023 NHL Draft (101st overall).
He collected 35 points in 69 games last season with the Laval Rocket, including 24 goals.
