The Vegas Golden Knights play their fourth preseason game on Friday and are riding the high of their first win. Tonight’s lineup features mostly younger players who are looking to establish themselves as call-up options. They’ll play the second half of a back-to-back at SAP Center against the San Jose Sharks.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7:08 p.m. PST.
On Thursday, the Golden Knights earned their first win of the preseason. They overcame a dreadfully slow start and mounted a multi-goal comeback in the final ten minutes of regulation. Shea Theodore completed the comeback in overtime, and the Golden Knights beat the Utah Mammoth 3-2.
Akira Schmid will start in net for the Golden Knights.
Yaroslav Askarov will start in net for the Sharks.

Golden Knights Game Notes
The Golden Knights had a record of 3-0-0 last season against the Sharks.
Cole Reinhardt, Alexander Holtz, Matyas Sapovaliv, and Cole Schwindt all played last night, as well. It appears as if they’re the frontrunners for the 13th forward vacancy.
Last night, Cole Reinhardt dropped the gloves against Utah Mammoth forward Gabe Smith.
Keep an eye out for Mathieu Cataford (#8). He had one heck of a season with the Rimouski Océanic last year. He’ll likely start this season with the Henderson Silver Knights.
