Goaltender James Reimer appears happy to be back with the Toronto Maple Leafs, the team he began his NHL career with.

Speaking to reporters Saturday at Leafs practice, his first session since returning to Toronto on a professional tryout agreement earlier this week, Reimer offered praise for both the city and the organization.

“I haven’t had that much fun in a long time. It’s been a special experience to be back here. A lot of memories & a lot of good emotions and really enjoying the moment,” he said.

“It’s the greatest game on earth and the greatest city to play the game in,” he added. “I got so many good memories. I’m sure there are some bad memories in there, I don’t remember any of them. I’m sure nobody else does either.”
