Catch the Chicago Blackhawks as they face the Minnesota Wild in their second preseason game. Exciting hockey action awaits.
The Chicago Blackhawks play their second preseason game of the weekend against the Minnesota Wild. Puck drop is 5 pm CT.
The Blackhawks are now 1-1 in preseason games as they launched a comeback against the St. Louis Blues in a 4-2 victory on Saturday. Tonight, Connor Bedard, Frank Nazar, and Artyom Levshunov return to the lineup for their second preseason game.
Chicago Blackhawks at Minnesota Wild Preview
With Connor Bedard and Frank Nazar returning, we can expect them to have dominant shifts. However, don’t be surprised if Bedard only logs one shot on goal like he did against the Detroit Red Wings. It’s preseason.
Kevin Korchinski will get his third look. He played better against the St. Louis Blues on Saturday. But he wasn’t perfect with a 42% expected goals share.

Oliver Moore also gets his third look of the preseason. He scored in yesterday’s game while chaos reigned at center ice. Moore had a better game against the Blues; however, his passing is questionable. In both preseason games so far, I’ve observed him making passes in the offensive zone when no one is there.

Another Blackhawk that I’ll be watching is Nick Lardis. He had a 57 xG%, a 50 Corsi, five shot attempts, and three shots on goal. He missed a couple of really nice scoring opportunities against the Blues.
Finally, there’s Artyom Levshunov. He needs to have a solid game after his poor game against the Detroit Red Wings.
