The Philadelphia Flyers are rolling out an NHL-like roster for their preseason home opener against the Boston Bruins on Saturday.
Here is the squad Philly is running with on Saturday:

It is certainly a squad filled with NHL-expectant players, as well as prospects leading the charge to make the final roster. Rodrigo Abols and Jacob Gaucher remain in the lineup as well after they were easily the team’s best line on Thursday. The well-known Cates line is the one missing from the forward group.
As for the defense, the top four of Cam York, Nick Seeler, Jamie Drysdale, and Travis Sanheim will play on Thursday, with Adam Ginning and Helge Grans still fighting for a roster spot vs. guys like Noah Juulsen and Dennis Gilbert.
Sam Ersson gets the start in goal. I would assume that he gets more than a period tonight with Carson Bjarnason as his possible relief.
The puck drops at 5:00 p.m. EST at the Xfinity Mobile Arena. 97.5 The Fanatic will have the radio broadcast. If you would like to watch the game, it will be streamed on PHILADELPHIAFLYERS.COM.
