The first cuts of training camp came on Sept. 24 following the Blackhawks’ first preseason game. Marek Vanacker, Jack Pridham, Nathan Behm, and Parker Holmes were sent to their respective CHL clubs.
Alex Vlasic sustained a lower-body injury in the Blackhawks’ 4-1 win over the Wild. Vlasic is listed day-to-day.
Landon Slaggert returns to practice on Tuesday after missing two preseason games due to an undisclosed injury.
The Blackhawks made their second round of roster cuts on Sunday, Sept. 28: Jackson Cates, Gavin Hayes, Martin Misiak, and Stanislav Berezhnoy.

The Hawks’ front office wasn’t done trimming the fat just yet. More players were cut on Monday morning: Nick Lardis, Sam Savoie, Aidan Thompson, Ashton Cumby, Drew Commesso, and Mitchell Weeks. A.J. Spellacy was sent back to the Windsor Spitfires.
