Not only did he get completely demolished by Louis-Jean at one point along the boards, and instead of seeing Slafkovsky wake up and show a bit of pride, we saw him smile, play softly, and act as if losing a battle against a guy like that invited to camp wasn’t a big deal.
In the following drill, Louis-Jean breaks Slafkovsky’s stick (imagine!), roughs him up, and again, Slaf smiles, lifts his helmet and has no problem with it.
