The Colorado Avalanche look to stay unbeaten in the preseason when they play the Golden Knights on Wednesday night.

The Colorado Avalanche and Vegas Golden Knights hit the ice for the second consecutive day on Wednesday night. The two teams met in Denver on Tuesday night, with the Avalanche winning 4-2. The Golden Knights led the game 2-1 heading into the third period, but the Avalanche found the back of the net three times in the final frame to get the win. Jason Polin tied the game two minutes into the third, Ross Colton gave them the lead four minutes later and Joel Kiviranta added an empty-netter with one second left to finish off the win. The win was the fourth in a row for the Avalanche to start the preseason. They will wrap up their preseason schedule on Saturday with a game against the Dallas Stars.

They lost their first two preseason games, but bounced back to beat the Utah Mammoth and San Jose Sharks in the next two games.

The Golden Knights will stay at home to wrap up their preseason schedule against the Sharks on Friday. They will then open their regular season next Wednesday at home against the Los Angeles Kings.
