The Los Angeles Kings today assigned ten players from their training camp to their AHL affiliate’s training camp. Of the ten players, three are forwards, five are defenseman, and two are goalies. The forwards are Kenny Connors, Francesco Pinelli, and Jared Wright. The defenseman are Jakub Dvorak, Jack Millar, Tim Rego, Otto Salin, Kirill Kirsanov, and the goalies are Erik Portillo and Isaiah Saville. They also placed forwards Logan Brown, Martin Chromiak, Glenn Gawdin, Cole Guttman, Andre Lee, Akil Thomas, Taylor Ward, defenseman Samuel Bolduc, Joe Hicketts, and goalie Phoenix Copley in the hope of them being assigned to Ontario.

Kenny Connors
Connors, in 40 games at UMass Amherst last season, recorded 29 points on ten goals and 19 assists. He was a plus-four with three power-play goals and six game-winning goals.
Francesco Pinelli
Pinelli, in 70 games for the Reign last season, recorded 29 points on 15 goals and 14 assists. He was a minus-eight with a power-play goal, two shorthanded goals, and three game-winning goals.
Jared Wright
Wright, in 44 games for the University of Denver, recorded 17 points on nine goals and eight assists. He was a +17 with a game-winning goal. In three games for the Reign, he recorded an assist.
Jakub Dvorak
Dvorak, in 46 games for the Reign, had four assists and was a minus-eight.
Jack Millar
Millar, in 62 games at Ontario, recorded 12 assists and was a +19.
Tim Rego
Rego played in 36 games at Cornell University, finishing with 24 points on eight goals and 16 assists. He was a +15 with a power-play goal and two game-winning goals. In five games with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits in the ECHL, he had two assists and was a plus-two.
Otto Salin
Salin, in 56 games with TPS in Liiga, had 28 points on eight goals and 20 assists. He was a minus-six. In three games with the Reign, he had an assist and was a minus-one.
Kirill Kirsanov
Kirsanov played in the KHL and the VHL last season. In 34 games in the KHL, he had seven points on three goals and four assists; he was a plus-five. In 28 games with the VHL, he had seven points on a goal and six assists; he was a plus-five there as well.
Erik Portillo
Portillo, in one game for the Kings last season, got the win, stopping 28 of the 29 shots he faced. In 24 games with the Reign, he went 15-5-4 with a 2.82 goals-against average and a .889 save percentage.
Isaiah Saville
Saville didn’t play last season. In his last action in 2023-24 with the Henderson Silver Knights, he went 7-12-1 with a 3.27 goals-against average, a .893 save percentage, and a shutout.
