SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Fans lined up outside the Delta Center to be the first to get their hands on official Utah Mammoth jerseys.
The jerseys became available for purchase on Thursday, the same day fans reunited with their team for the first preseason game at the Delta Center against the Los Angeles Kings.
Some fans told us they started lining up as early as 4:30 a.m. to be among the first inside the Delta Center Team Store when the doors opened at 11 a.m.
Mammoth fans were able to choose between the 2025-26 Utah Mammoth home and away jerseys.
“We’re excited to see what fans think and see it worn throughout the community,” said Mammoth President of Hockey Operations Chris Armstrong.
The Utah Mammoth’s primary logo is prominently displayed on the black home jersey, located on the chest, with Utah badges on each shoulder.
“It’s great, I’m stoked on it. I was a little weary of Mammoth at first, but when I saw the logo, I said That’s our team now, that’s it,” a fan lined up outside the Team Store said. “The logo on the front, you can’t beat that. It looks great, you can’t beat that.”
The white away jersey was designed with the familiar “UTAH” staircase design on the front, with the Mammoth logo on the shoulders.
Both home and away jerseys will have “Est. 2024” stitched into the collar, according to team officials, as a tribute to the club’s first year in the NHL.
One fan said he grabbed a Dylan Guenther jersey because he believed he was the “best player last year.”
He added that he was “cooking” during the 2024-25 NHL season.

The new club identity was announced earlier this year following an extensive community-driven search for a permanent team name. The name “Mammoth” came out as the winner after the fan-favorite “Yeti” was removed as an option following a trademark issue.
One fan said he arrived at the event at 7:30 a.m. and was “absolutely pumped.”
“These will be longer-lasting. Everything we got last year will be worn in memory,” he said.
The first home game of the new season, not preseason, is scheduled to take place on Oct. 15, when the Mammoth welcomes the Calgary Flames.
