In their preseason finale, the Vegas Golden Knights will ice a lineup almost identical to what they’ll ice on Opening Night. The roster decisions have been made; this is the final tune-up before the regular season. They’ll host the San Jose Sharks on Friday at T-Mobile Arena.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7:08 p.m. PST.
In their last outing, the Golden Knights played most of their NHL regulars in what was one of the more entertaining preseason games you’ll watch. They played sound hockey and scored twice in the third period to beat the Colorado Avalanche 2-1.
Adin Hill will most likely start in net for the Golden Knights.
Alex Nedeljkovic will start in net for the Sharks.

Golden Knights Game Notes
The Golden Knights lost their first two preseason games; now, they’re back at .500 with a 3-3 record. They’re 1-1 against the Sharks this preseason.
With Pavel Dorofeyev still injured, Alexander Holtz will play with Tomáš Hertl and Brandon Saad. Holtz is on a PTO and is one of the only RFAs who remain unsigned.
Shea Theodore will take Dorofeyev’s spot on the top power play unit. Mitch Marner is positioned at the top of the umbrella, indicating that when Dorofeyev is healthy, the Golden Knights will likely run a five-forward power play.
Tonight will be Jack Eichel’s second preseason game. He recorded three points in his last outing.
Jeremy Lauzon will play his first preseason game after suffering an injury early in training camp.
All fans in attendance tonight will receive a free Golden Knights crossbody bag.
