The Rangers lost to the New Jersey Devils 3-1 on Thursday and open the season at home against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday night.
Boston Bruins News & Notes:
The Bruins are coming off a 3-1 win over the Washington Capitals in their last preseason game. The Bruins defeated the Rangers earlier in the season 5-4 in overtime. Boston will open the season on October 8 at Washington.
