We told you about it earlier, but today the Montreal Canadiens officially released an update on the players’ height and weight.
Laine has actually gained weight!
That being said, the opposite is true for another Canadiens player.
This is honestly the first time I’ve ever seen something like this!

Kaapo Kahkonen, 29, was signed by the Canadiens as a free agent on July 1.
Previously listed at 6-foot-2 and 217 pounds, he now measures in at 6-foot-2 and 194 pounds.
Let’s see if that helps him become quicker and more agile in net.
Over 140 career NHL games, Kahkonen holds a record of 49 wins, 68 losses, and 15 overtime losses, with a goals-against average of 3.34 and a save percentage of .898.
Definitely a storyline to watch as camp winds down.
