Winnipeg Jets fans can expect a packed opening weekend at Canada Life Centre, complete with trophy displays, giveaways, and new food and beverage options as the team launches its 2025–26 NHL season.

The home opener on Thursday, October 9, will see the Jets take on the Dallas Stars, rekindling their 2025 playoff rivalry. Fans will enjoy live player introductions backed by the Jets’ house band Mach 10, a light show, and a free toque courtesy of Canada Life.

Doors open early at 5:30 p.m. for photo ops with the Presidents’ Trophy and Connor Hellebuyck’s Vezina, Jennings, and Hart trophies. The team will also unveil new Presidents’ Trophy and Central Division Championship banners before puck drop.

The celebrations continue with the opening weekend matinee on Saturday, October 11, featuring a mini banner giveaway for the first 5,000 fans. The trophies will also be displayed during the Manitoba Moose home opener on Friday, October 10.

Fans can also look forward to new concession experiences, including the Market Powered by Slurpee, which offers self-serve kiosks with frozen Slurpees, snacks, and ready-to-serve meals. The Chef’s Kitchen debuts a rotating menu near the Ticketmaster Lounge, while The Warm-Up introduces Tim Hortons beverages and snacks.

Other new menu items include grilled cheese and tomato soup, street corn, and soft pretzels across the arena.

Accessibility upgrades include a new Quiet Room near Sections 124/125 and WaveCAST app integration for assisted listening and descriptive play-by-play.
