The Buffalo Sabres are introducing several new food options this season at KeyBank Cener.
New options include special sandwiches like a two-foot-long chicken parmesan sandwich, the Big Parm Thompson, inspired by forward Tage Thompson’s pregame meal of chicken parmesan with vodka sauce. Other new additions include The Tage Hero Sandwich (Genoa salami, ham, pepperoni, capicola, provolone, mozzarella, red wine vinegar, lettuce, tomato and red onion on a toasted sub roll) and The French Connection (French toast with ham, cheese, a fried egg and mustard cream sauce).
Delaware North will feature specialty flavored pretzels, like Cheetos, cinnamon and ham and cheese-stuffed pretzels.
“Concessions are one of the most important touchpoints in the fan experience, and we are continually listening to feedback and working to optimize and refine the offerings at KeyBank Center,” said Pete Guelli, chief operating officer of the Sabres. “Every season is an opportunity for us to improve in that area, and our focus remains on ensuring the gameday experience meets the expectations of our fans.”
Also new this season will be Labatt Blue and Blonde Ale, a cream ale created exclusively for KeyBank Center.
“Every season, we challenge ourselves to bring something new and memorable to Sabres fans. This year’s menu brings even more bold flavors, local favorites and a few playful twists. From tribute sandwiches to rotating specials, we’ve built a lineup that’s full of energy, flavor – and the unmistakable spirit of Buffalo,” Michael Buonopane, executive chef for Delaware North at KeyBank Center, said.
Other new offerings include the Helicopter Fried Bologna sandwich, Rayzor Dog, 3-Meat Chili Cheese Dog and more.
