
Mancini was assigned to AHL Abbotsford, the team announced Sunday.
Mancini was among the final roster cuts by the Canucks. The defenseman is still waivers-exempt, so he’ll report right to the AHL and begin the season there. The 23-year old, who came over as part of the J.T. Miller trade, played 30 AHL games between Abbotsford and Hartford last season, putting up 13 points.
